Unity specializes in unions and unionized employer groups and will provide educational and consulting services to groups needing specialized funding alternatives for health care such as partially self-insured arrangements and fully-insured funding options.  Additionally Unity designs  customized group benefits for both multi-employer trusts and union health and welfare plans. 

Affordable Housing

Our Affordable Housing Program focuses on low-to-moderate income, privately-owned, multi-family housing where more than 20% of the rental income is government subsidized. The product is designed specifically for the needs these property owners face. One of the key features is the Business Income portion of the policy. Unlike a standard property form, it covers loss of both rents and government subsidies. Our Affordable Housing Program can include Senior Housing. Properties with social services that are not drug-rehab related are eligible, however appropriate certificates of insurance must be provided before we can provide you with a quote.

Senior Housing (Independent Living)

The senior population (55+) is the largest growing demographic in the United States. We will insure Active Retirement and Independent Living condos, coops, and rentals, including Independent Living facilities that provide services such as community dining, laundry, housekeeping, and transportation. Please note that transportation does not include scheduled sponsored events. And appropriate certificates will be required before we can provide you a quote.

Student Housing

Our Student Housing program is designed for multi-unit housing with quality life safety and quality management. Dormitories, fraternities/sororities, single family homes and buildings with frame balconies are not eligible for the program.

Appropriate coverages for the type of risk are available. Programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of the risk.
